Spectroscopy of K+ x Rg and transport coefficients of K+ in Rg (Rg=He-Rn).
Ab initio calculations employing the coupled-cluster method, with single and double substitutions and accounting for triple excitations noniteratively [CCSD(T)], are used to obtain accurate potential energy curves for the K(+)He, K(+)Ne, K(+)Ar, K(+)Kr, K(+)Xe, and K(+)Rn cationic complexes. From these potentials, rovibrational energy levels and spectroscopic parameters are calculated. In addit...
متن کاملNO angular distributions in the photodissociation of „NO...2 at 213 nm: Deviations from axial recoil
Angular distributions of selected rotational states of NO(A S,n50) products obtained in the 213 nm photodissociation of (NO)2 have been determined in a molecular beam by using the photofragment ion imaging technique. Specifically, images of NO(A ,n50) products in N50, 11, and 19 have been recorded, for which the maximum energies available to the NO(X P) products are 2038, 1774, and 1278 cm, res...
متن کاملTheoretical study of Cl(-)RG (rare gas) complexes and transport of Cl- through RG (RG = He-Rn).
We present a systematic investigation of the accuracy of the various theories and basis sets that can be applied to study the interaction of Cl(-) ions with Ar atoms. It is conclusively shown that gaseous ion mobility can distinguish among theoretical ion-neutral interaction potentials. Based on the conclusions, high-level ab initio potential energy curves are obtained for all of the Cl(-)-RG (...
متن کاملNon RG logarithms via RG equations
We compute complete leading logarithms in Φ4 theory with the help of Connes and Kreimer RG equations. These equations are defined in the Lie algebra dual to the Hopf algebra of graphs. The results are compared with calculations in parquet approximation. An interpretation of the new RG equations is discussed.
متن کاملVelocity distributions of He + , Ne + and Ar + in parent gases
Measurements are made of the velocity distributions of He+, Ne+ and Ar' ions drifting in their respective parent gas under the action of a uniform electric field at room temperature (297-300 K). Considerable improvements have been implemented in the present apparatus in comparison with older systems. The drift tube is greatly enlarged and its pressure accurately controlled by a regulating servo...
